Product direction and roadmap decisions
I help early-stage teams with product strategy, MVP scope, workflows, PRDs, and build priorities so they are solving the right problem before engineering gets expensive.
I help ecommerce operators understand the true cost of fulfillment, improve checkout and shipping-method decisions, clean up and audit messy 3PL data, and build better systems for pricing, reporting, and growth.
Help ecommerce, logistics, and software teams shape product ideas around real workflows, data, and operator pain.
Find marginAudit fulfillment, carrier, billing, and operational data to explain where costs are coming from.
Lift conversionOptimize checkout shipping options, delivery promises, free-shipping thresholds, and method logic so you convert more customers.
Build systemsCreate custom dashboards, custom tools, workflows, and product direction that make the work easier to manage.
I like problems where the spreadsheet, the warehouse, and the product roadmap are all describing the same thing in different languages.
I spent 5+ years inside a 3PL, first working through billing and inventory projects, then building custom forecasting tools and custom operational dashboards, then moving deeper into financial analytics, pricing strategy, carrier negotiations, and growth.
That path made me skeptical of clean-looking metrics that do not match what is happening on the floor. The useful work is usually in the translation: turning messy operational reality into decisions, systems, and software people can actually use.
I also advise early-stage companies on product direction and growth, including logistics startups, fintech tools, nonprofits, local companies, and emerging brands that need sharper operating context before deciding what to build.
Understanding how fulfillment, billing, inventory, carrier behavior, and customer expectations collide in the real world.
Connecting analytics to commercial decisions: pricing, proposals, customer conversations, carrier negotiations, and the systems that make growth easier to manage.
Making operational data trustworthy enough to support pricing, forecasting, audits, and recurring management decisions.
Using an applied mathematics background to reason through models, algorithms, and systems where the data is messy and the answer needs to be useful.
Helping teams choose what to build by grounding product ideas in workflows, user experience, edge cases, and the economics underneath them.
Building internal tools and early product surfaces when the fastest way to learn is to make the workflow concrete.
Choose the kind of work you want to explore. I work with ecommerce brands, logistics companies, and early-stage teams on fulfillment economics, product direction, analytics, and the systems that connect them.
I help teams shape what to build before they overcommit to the wrong roadmap. My advisory work is grounded in operator context, and I often build the first version when that is the fastest path to clarity.
I help early-stage teams with product strategy, MVP scope, workflows, PRDs, and build priorities so they are solving the right problem before engineering gets expensive.
I coach teams on industry nuances, terminology, and customer needs so product and go-to-market decisions reflect how operators, buyers, and end users actually work.
I design and ship custom dashboards, internal tools, and early software when the fastest way to learn is to make the workflow concrete instead of debating it in slides.
See things I've built →For brands and operators, I focus on the problems where shipping, billing, and growth decisions are getting expensive or hard to explain.
I help brands understand what they are really paying for: pick/pack, storage, carrier charges, billing adjustments, DIM weight, minimums, and the small operational choices that quietly change margin.
Free 3PL audit →I help teams improve shipping options, delivery promises, free-shipping thresholds, and method logic so customers have clearer reasons to buy.
Talk through checkout →Pricing, proposals, carrier strategy, customer savings, and growth plans all work better when they are grounded in the realities of volume, zones, warehouse labor, and service expectations.
Talk through the problem →I help teams turn messy operational data into reporting, forecasting, and systems people actually trust enough to run the business on.
I help teams clean up messy data, reconcile conflicting reports, audit key metrics, and figure out where custom dashboards, spreadsheets, and business reality disagree.
Clean up the data →I build forecasting models, volume analysis, custom operational dashboards, and recurring reporting that support planning instead of just looking impressive.
Improve reporting →I design and build custom internal tools, workflows, and automation that replace fragile manual processes with systems teams can actually maintain.
See things I've built →I grew up in College Station, Texas, where Friday night lights and Saturday morning tailgates inject life into the town, everyone treats you like a neighbor, and the four seasons are hot, hotter, perfect, and little chilly but sometimes hot.
Growing up, I loved music, sports, building things, solving problems, math, and writing. I liked being creative and analytical, but it took me a while to realize those didn't have to be kept separate.
College opened my eyes to different industries and to careers built around wearing multiple hats. I am drawn to places where I can think big, stay balanced, build useful things, and keep learning from interesting people.
I am drawn to books about builders, leaders, athletes, founders, and people who endured hard seasons without giving up. A few favorites:
I love the drama and storytelling of sports: Sundays at the Ryder Cup or Amen Corner, deafening third downs at Kyle Field, a game of pickup with friends at the gym, and the way a hotdog at a baseball game can be the greatest meal you've ever had.
I have always loved music that feels tied to a season, a drive, a person, or a place. A few songs I come back to:
A few apps and projects from the applied math and data side of my work to hobbies and other interests.
An interactive Streamlit app for exploring how k-means clustering behaves as inputs, clusters, and data shape change.
A graph-search project that explores actor connections through film relationships and shortest-path logic.
A text-analysis app for examining review data, sentiment patterns, and product feedback signals.
A small tool for turning spreadsheet columns into comma-separated lists for SQL WHERE statements, with quote and parenthesis options.
Documenting and preserving the data and stories behind golf's four major championships, from 1860 to today.
Whether you are an ecommerce brand with a fulfillment problem, a logistics SaaS team that needs a product brain, or someone who wants to talk about what I am building, I would love to meet!
Thank you! I typically respond within 24 hours.
